Thanksgiving day

On Thanksgiving day, I went to Chicago, which is a biggest city in west of Amercia. It beautiful and boom.
I went to Michigan avenue, there are too many people hang out and shopping, they are very exciting, they have many bags which are reflect they shopping many things. Then I went to other places, they are crowded, but it can't affect our mood. We travel in Chicago 3 days, I think it is a short trip. I don't want to end of this trip, but I can't change.
All of that, I think this is a happy vacation, the bad thing is that it too short.

Trend at MSU

Most of people will recognise a fact that, our life influenced by fashionable thing everyday. some fashion is fads, on contrast some fashion is trends. But whatever the fashion style, the goal is make our life affluent.

Maybe some people think, they do not like fashion, they do not know what is fads and what is trends. Actually, these problems are not important, if you pay attention to observe the change life around you, you will find the answer of these questions. For instance, 7 years ago people like wear bell-bottom jeans, it is famous of all society. But the bad thing is that the bell-bottom jeans just fashioned 1 year, it a short time ,then it dissppeared. When I came to MSU first time, I do not know what is the trends in there. Whereas, after 1 month I got the answer, one of the trends in MSU is football, which is very famous. Even though the elder also like it. If MSU has football match, the students always crowded in cafeteria watch the match, they are very exciting. sometimes they are shout "good", sometimes they are complain "the players are foolish" . all of the behave express out they are like football. Except football MSU has other trends such as the slang " Go Green Go White", you can listen it when MSU has match or other activities.

In short, wherever you live or study, you will know the trends of you stay place. Maybe you can try it. Sometimes it not without advantage.

Plan

As a student, we should make a schedule about studying, so we can observe the schedule to accomplishment. In the long run, we will feel every day is enrichment.

I'm a college student, I always confuse in academic life, how to make academic life enrichment, how can I got the diploma, and so on. But, now I know what I should do. I will choose civil engineering with my major, which is my goal, that let me fight every day. actually, I don't know much about civil engineering. But I like it, I like constructing. maybe I can't study very good, but I want to try.

For me, this is a challenge, but I will try my best.

My Experience at Wilcox Elementary School

From now on, I come to Amercia about two monthes, I have participated many kinds of activites, such as, Welcome dinnig, Hallowmas party, and so on. But in my mind, I think the most useful activity is that we went to elementary school to teach the children our country's culture.

When the teacher told us, we will go to elementary school to teach children, I'm very exciting. So we prepared traditional paper cutting. We taught the children how to cut my country's word, ''xi'', which mean that when our country's people will get marry, they want to have a happy start in their wedding day. The children very interested in paper cutting, they are clever and loveliness. I remember a boy, after cut the word he ask us to teach him how to cut paper like fish, we all surprise, but we were happy, he like paper cutting. So we taught him how to cut paper like fish. After that every children give us presents, a picture painted by themseleves. A total about 20 children we taught, so we feel tired, but we were very happy to do. I found that the children extroversion, they were not shy, they were happy to accept different culture. In this side, they are good than my country's children.

Although, the activity just last two hours, but I think it useful and we have a happy day. I hope we have next time to do that.

Halloween

In the world, there are many different holidays in different counties. In my country, China the most grand holiday is Spring Festival, in that day, everyone put down their things, enjoying wtih parents' days. In Amercia, this is my first time to participate the more royal holiday, Halloween.

I think Halloween is a crazying holiday. When you walk on the road, you can see many people weared strange clothing come from your side. people wear many different costume, such as like rabbit clothing, antic clothing, and so on. They all enjoyed in their costume, especially I sew many girls sit on the dormitory's aisle and face to the mirror make up, they are look very beautiful. they will wear their costume to take part in a red-carpet party at night. In the party they were dancing, taking photoes. It very interesting. But there is a pity is that, I didn't wear the costume, I forget to buy it. Next year, I will wear the costume to participant the part.

This is a happy weekend, I'm interested in Halloween.

Plan

This is a exciting news for me, Thanksgiving will come, which means I will have a vocation. I wait the vocation have long time, because I can put off my schoolbag, going to travel with my friends. I want to have a good trip, so I should make a schedule about this trip.

After talk about this trip with my friends, we take 500 dollars each person in this trip. we decided to Chicago. Because, in this vocation we just have five days, Chicago is nearby our city and it is the largest city in north of Amercia. Then we should select transportation, we want to trip by plane, but it expensive for us, we can hardly to afford the round-trip tickets, so we select trip by train, it cheap and we can see the scenery on the way. We search the trian tickets, it about 50 dollars single tickets, so we should us 100 dallars on transportation. The important thing is we should find hotel to live, we found hifton garden evanston, it 111 dollars per night, but we can have 4 people in one room, so we should pay 28 dollars per night, it is a reasonable price. we have enough leavings money to shopping, playing and dining.

That all, this is my first time to plan my trip. So, I'm very exciting, I think it will be a interesting trip.

My Dormitory

As I know, most of students want to live off compus, they want to rent a apartment and decorate it very beautiful. But, on the contrary, they should obey the school system, they have to live on compus in the first year. So I live in Akers, it was arranged by school.

I think I'm very luck, because my dormitory should live four students, but from now on, we just lived three students. They are very friendly, one of them comes from China, which is same to me. The other is a local. The important thing is that, we own a extreme large space, we can put some furniture in study room. I like my dormitory not only we have a large space, but also my dormitory is very convenient. Let me introduce my dormitory, there is abathroom and a big study room. It is different from other dormitory, some students shuold share the bath room with their neighbor, so that ,sometimes it is not convenient.

On the other hand, I can keep well relation with my roomates, we play x-box and talk each other when we free. Every evening, we do not play too late, we always sleep at tweleve o'clock. It is a prodigious different with other dormitory. As I konw, some students playing until midnight, so they can't have enough rest. The annoyed thing is that, some dormitory play musice very loudly so that the roomate can hardly to sleep in the evening. In the long run, it would be affect study efficiency. To make the matter worse, it not good for healthy.

All of that, many students want to live off compus with their friends as soon as possible, but I don't want to move out my dormitory, because I like my dormitory.
